Be a national organization representing member physicians who are practicing urgent care medicine and are is good professional and ethical standing. The college will offer resources which can help the member physicians, the profession of urgent care medicine, patients and the public.

1. Offer opportunities for the urgent care physician leaders to share their knowledge and skills with other member physicians.

2. Keep urgent care physician's medical knowledge and practical skills up to date so that they can practice the best quality urgent care medicine.

3. To manage their urgent care practices more effectively by offering solution to tackle common every day problems encountered by member physician's practices.

4. Conduct educational conferences for the member physicians and provide them the opportunity to complete their continuing medical education (CME) required by law to maintain their medical licenses.

5. Help create future leaders in the field of urgent care medicine.

6. Offer a common platform of advocacy for the member physicians to communicate and share their concerns to the appropriate governmental and other stake holders in the health care profession.

7. Offer better training and professional growth for the future urgent care physicians. Attract more physicians to peruse their careers in the field of urgent care medicine.

8. Start a national medical publication to create new medical knowledge in the field of urgent care medicine.

9. Improve the quality of urgent care practice by creating urgent care clinical practice guidelines.

10. Create clinical tools to measure the quality of care delivered by the urgent care practicing physicians.

11. To create public awareness about the specialty of Urgent Care Medicine and how this specialty can help our public.

12. Launch community medical education projects regarding how to prevent and treat common preventable medical conditions and promote healthy and safe living for our public.

13. To work with American Medical Association (AMA) and The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) to start a post-MD medical training program in the specialty of Urgent Care Medicine within the United States.

14. Provide a leadership to set the standards in the field of Urgent Care Medicine in the global community.
